Etihad Airways marks inaugural flight to Jaipur with lamp-lighting ceremony

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has officially begun daily operations between Jaipur and Abu Dhabi, marking the airline’s tenth destination in India.

To celebrate, passengers were greeted by a traditional lamp lighting ceremony as they left the aircraft.

Jaipur is known as the pink city for its pink-painted cityscape. It is the capital, and the largest city, of the State of Rajasthan. Renowned for its distinct heritage and landscape, the city has witnessed a 70 per cent increase in tourist arrivals during the past 10 years.
